Sanho’s HyperDrive Viper can simultaneously connect a MacBook to two 4K displays at 60 Hz. And it has eight more ports, allowing a wide range of accessories to be accessed at once.
The USB-C hub launched Monday, as is available now.
HyperDrive Viper is a 10-in-2 multi-port adapter
The Viper has a slightly unusual design. It requires two USB-C connections to provide its full capabilities. And so there are two USB-C cables to connect the adapter to a computer. But the hub can also be used with just one connection, making it a nine-port adapter with a single functional HDMI port.<!– –>
“HyperDrive Viper is designed with the MacBook Pro/Air in mind to be a compact, powerful dual video output USB-C Hub, and yet retain the versatility to work with just about any other USB-C device,” said Daniel Chin, CEO and founder of Hyper.
Beyond HDMI, the adapter includes a trio of USB-A (5 Gbps) ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There’re also SD and microSD card readers. And a USB-C port with 60W Power Delivery.
All this goes into a casing that’s 5.7 inches by 1.9 in. by 0.6 in. (144 x 49 x 16 mm). It’s available in either a silver or space gray aluminum enclosure.
Sanho’s HyperDrive Viper costs $119.99. It’s available now at HyperShop, and is coming soon to other retailers.
